The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, Hon. Akinloye Abdulrazaq Abiola, joined the party’s Oyo State Governorship Candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, in engagements with stakeholders across Ibadan North-East Local Government Area.
The engagements included a visit to the Ibadan North-East Local Government Secretariat along Iwo Road, Ibadan, where the APM candidates interacted with local government staff and stakeholders.
The delegation also engaged members of the Alasalatul Movement at Yidi, Gate, Ibadan, as part of efforts to deepen grassroots mobilisation and dialogue ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During the engagements, the APM team sought the support and votes of residents for candidates contesting under the party’s platform, while also promoting the party’s broader political agenda.
The campaign message also centred on the APM’s presidential ambition for Engr. Seyi Makinde, with supporters advocating for his emergence as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and calling for coordinated support for APM candidates across the ballot.
Akinloye’s participation underscored his continued grassroots engagement in Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, as the party intensifies consultations with community groups, workers, religious organisations and other stakeholders.
