IBADAN SOUTH EAST LG WARD 3: HON. TAIWO OLASUNKANMI PROVIDES RELIEF GAS TO OVER 120 RESIDENTS
In another demonstration of compassion, community service and commitment to the welfare of the people, Hon. Taiwo Olasunkanmi, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Councillor, Ibadan South East Local Government Ward 3, has provided relief gas to over 120 residents of the ward. The initiative, which took place today, was aimed at supporting families and easing the burden of the prevailing economic challenges.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Modiu Opeyemi Alabamusa commended Hon. Olasunkanmi for taking practical steps to support the people even before assuming office. He described the gesture as a reflection of leadership centred on service, compassion and genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
Hon. Alabamusa also assured the Ward 3 Women Leader of his commitment to women empowerment, disclosing that he would, in the coming months, embark on an empowerment programme for women across the ward. He said the initiative would focus on creating opportunities and improving the economic wellbeing of women in the community.
Also present at the occasion were the APM Local Government Chairman, JP Olajide, and the Local Government Women Leader, who applauded Hon. Olasunkanmi for the laudable initiative and his continued commitment to the people. They described the gesture as a practical demonstration of people-oriented leadership.
The leaders further called on party members, leaders and stakeholders in Ward 3 to remain united, maintain peace and work together for the development of the community. They also encouraged residents and supporters to continue supporting the good governance and developmental strides of the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
The initiative further underscores Hon. Taiwo Olasunkanmi’s commitment to people-centred leadership and community development. For him, leadership goes beyond promises; it is about taking action, responding to the needs of the people and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
