The Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr. Ayobami Akinyode Olunloyo, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rasidi Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, Arusa I, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his birthday and first coronation anniversary.

In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists on friday, on behalf of himself and the Olunloyo family, Engr. Olunloyo said the monarch's emergence has been a blessing to Ibadanland.

He described Kabiyesi as an embodiment of wisdom, courage and uncommon leadership, noting that his one year on the throne has brought renewed dignity, unity and global recognition to the traditional institution.

Olunloyo further stated that Oba Ladoja's wealth of experience as a former Senator of the Federal Republic and former Governor of Oyo State has continued to reflect in the stability and progress of the ancient city.

According to him, Ibadan is fortunate to have a detribalized, development-driven father whose counsel continues to inspire both leaders and youths across the state.

"On behalf of myself and the entire Olunloyo family, I heartily felicitate Kabiyesi on this double celebration. Your reign in the last one year has been peaceful and impactful," he said.

He prayed: "Kí adé kò pé lórí, kí bàtà kò pé lẹ́sẹ̀, kí ẹṣin Ọba kó jẹ oko pẹ. Kí ìlú Ìbàdàn túbọ̀ rọjú, kí ó túbọ̀ ráyè. Káàábíyèsí ooo! Igba ọdún, ọdún kan ni, láṣẹ Elédùmarè."
