As students resume for the 2026/2027 academic session, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as "OMUYES," has charged students across the council area to be diligent and excel in their studies.

In his welcome-back message, Hon. Akintayo congratulated students and their parents on the successful resumption of academic activities, describing education as the surest pathway to a brighter future for the youth of Ibadan North East.

He urged students to approach the new session with renewed commitment, noting that consistent hard work and dedication remain the key ingredients for academic success.
The council boss further charged students to be disciplined both within and outside the classroom, stressing that good conduct is a reflection of sound upbringing and a vital tool for personal and societal development.

Hon. Akintayo also reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting education within Ibadan North East LG, assuring residents that ongoing efforts to improve schools and learning conditions in the council area would continue.
He called on parents, teachers, and stakeholders in the education sector to join hands in nurturing students to become responsible, excellent, and disciplined citizens.

He concluded by wishing all students in Ibadan North East LG a productive and rewarding 2026/2027 academic session, expressing confidence in their capacity to excel and represent the council positively.
