IBADAN NORTH EAST LG HAS NO APM CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE YET — CONCERNED CITIZENS

Concerned citizens and stakeholders in Ibadan North East Local Government have reacted to recent claims surrounding the emergence of an alleged APM chairmanship candidate ahead of the forthcoming local government election.

According to the concerned citizens, no individual should be regarded or presented as the official APM chairmanship candidate until the party formally concludes its internal process and makes an official declaration.

They described any premature announcement or self-declaration as capable of creating unnecessary confusion among party members, supporters and the electorate.

The group further appealed to all aspirants and their supporters to respect the party’s established procedures and allow the appropriate authorities to make the final decision.

“Until the party officially announces its candidate, nobody should claim to be the APM chairmanship candidate of Ibadan North East Local Government.”

The concerned citizens also urged party stakeholders to uphold fairness, transparency, equity and respect for due process, stressing that the interest of the party and the people should remain paramount.

For now, the position remains clear: Ibadan North East Local Government has NO officially confirmed APM Chairmanship Candidate — until the party says otherwise.
