IBADAN, OYO STATE — Hon. Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye, PhD, candidate for Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Ibadan South-East Local Government Leader, Hon. Muhammed Inakoju, at his residence in Ibadan.

Hon. Inakoju, a respected political leader and grassroots mobilizer in Ibadan South-East Local Government, received Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye and her delegation. The delegation included PDP National Exco Hon. Nurudeen Ibitoye, State PDP Financial Secretary Hon. Adekunle Olatinwo, PDP State Ex-Officio Hon. Kabir Odeyemi, Ibadan South-East PDP Chairman Mr Olanrewaju Adekola, Ibadan South-East Local Government Women Leader Mrs Ogundipe, Ibadan South-East Local Government Youth Leader Mr Moyeloye Sakiru, Hon. Ademola Taoreed and Mr Abideen Oloke.

In her address, Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye commended Hon. Inakoju for his exemplary leadership and the positive reputation that precedes him across Ibadan South-East Local Government.  
“I have heard great things about your dedication to the people and your role in sustaining peace and progress in this Local Government. We are here to learn from your experience and to seek your guidance as we work towards purposeful representation for Ibadan North-East and South-East,” she said.

She further prayed for Hon. Inakoju, his team, and the entire leadership of Ibadan South-East Local Government, asking for continued wisdom, good health, and strength to serve the people.

Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye also outlined her legislative agenda, which prioritizes quality education, youth employment, accessible healthcare, women empowerment, and the attraction of federal projects to Ibadan NE/SE.

In his response, Hon. Inakoju applauded Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye for her consultative approach and commitment to grassroots engagement. He described her as a candidate with the capacity to deliver effective representation and pledged support for initiatives that promote unity and development in the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting concluded with a renewed call for collaboration among stakeholders to ensure peace, progress, and the overall development of the constituency.
