PDP, APM Youth Wings Rally for Unity, Renew Commitment to Governor Seyi Makinde's Leadership
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Youth Wings in Oyo State have announced a joint unity meeting to strengthen the PDP/APM coalition and reaffirm their commitment to the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
The meeting, which is expected to bring together youths from both parties across the state, is aimed at promoting unity, harmony, and a shared resolve to sustain the coalition that has continued to support the Makinde-led administration.
In a notice jointly signed by the PDP State Youth Leader, Comrade Olalekan Bello, and the APM State Youth Leader, Ambassador Olumide Ojo, the organisers said recent events have made it necessary for members of the coalition to unite and move forward with one purpose.
According to the statement, the gathering will also serve as an opportunity for members to reaffirm their loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde's youth-oriented government while working together to ensure the success of all PDP/APM coalition candidates across Oyo State.
The youth unity meeting is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Tafo Arena, Polytechnic Road, Ibadan, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
To ensure wide participation, transportation arrangements will be coordinated through the Local Government Youth Leaders of the coalition parties.
The organisers called on all members of the PDP/APM coalition to attend, stressing that unity and solidarity remain vital to preserving the achievements of the current administration and building a stronger future for Oyo State.

NOTICE OF YOUTH UNITY MEETING
Dear Distinguished Youths of the PDP/APM Coalition (GSM),
The events of the past few months have made it necessary for us to harmonize, unite, and reaffirm our loyalty to the youth-oriented government of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde (GSM).
As we move forward, let us come together in unity and solidarity to ensure the victory of all our candidates across the state while preserving and strengthening the legacy of youth-driven leadership in Oyo State.
Date: Wednesday, 12th August, 2026
Venue: Tafo Arena, Polytechnic Road, Ibadan
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Transportation will be provided through the Local Government Youth Leaders of the coalition parties.
Together, we shall preserve our GSM's legacy and continue to build a stronger, youth-driven leadership for Oyo State.
