As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and ensure effective service provision across Oyo State, Hon. Babalola Abiodun PhD (Integrity), Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Health in the Oyo State House of Assembly, joined other members of the committee on an oversight visit to the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex, Oyo.

The visit was aimed at assessing the state of facilities, evaluating ongoing projects, and identifying areas that require government intervention to improve healthcare services for residents of Oyo State.

During the inspection, the committee engaged with the hospital management and staff, reviewed operational challenges, and examined the level of infrastructure and medical equipment available at the institution. The lawmakers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that will enhance the quality of healthcare delivery across the state.

Hon. Babalola Abiodun PhD (Integrity) emphasized the importance of regular oversight functions as a means of ensuring accountability, efficiency, and improved healthcare outcomes for citizens. He noted that accessible and quality healthcare remains a priority of the Oyo State Government and the State House of Assembly.

The oversight visit further demonstrates the determination of the House Committee on Health to ensure that healthcare institutions across the state operate effectively and continue to provide quality medical services to the people.
