IBADAN — Oyo Central PDP Senatorial Chairman Hon. Adewusi Adegbola has commended Oyo PDP Governorship Candidate His Excellency Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi for showing the qualities of a real political son after he mobilized a large turnout of PDP members for the 18th Remembrance of late High Chief Lamidi Ariyibi Adedibu, popularly known as “Oloosa Molete.”

In a press release issued Wednesday to reporters, Adewusi said Gbolarumi has sustained Adedibu’s political structure for 18 years without relenting, maintaining the grassroots network that defined the late leader’s influence in Oyo politics.

“High Chief Adedibu was an institution whose commitment to the masses, discipline, and political structure continue to shape leadership in Oyo State,” he said. “His Excellency Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi has embodied those values through loyalty, capacity, and dedication to the people.”

He added that the turnout at Molete reflected Gbolarumi’s ability to unite party members and mobilize the base ahead of future elections.

“I pray His Excellency Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi achieves his aim and wins the 2027 governorship election. I also pray for victory for all PDP candidates across Oyo State and the National Assembly,” he said.
