70th Birthday: O Mu Yes Celebrates Yeyeluwa Modinatu Adedibu, Commends Her Enduring Legacy

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O Mu Yes, has congratulated Alhaja Chief Yeyeluwa Modinatu Abosede Adedibu on the occasion of her 70th birthday anniversary.

In a statement made available to journalists, Hon. Akintayo described the Yeyeluwa of Ibadanland as a respected matriarch whose life has remained a symbol of strength, humility, and unwavering commitment to humanity.

The council chairman noted that Alhaja Modinatu Adedibu has continued to preserve and uphold the political and social legacy of her late husband, the renowned Ibadan political icon, Alhaji Lamidi Ariyibi Adedibu, many years after his demise.

According to him, the celebrant has consistently served as a source of unity, guidance, and inspiration to political associates, family members, and numerous admirers across Oyo State.

Hon. Akintayo commended her efforts in sustaining the values and ideals associated with the Adedibu political family, describing her as a dependable mother figure whose wisdom and counsel continue to impact the political landscape of the state.

“Alhaja Modinatu Adedibu has demonstrated remarkable leadership, resilience, and dedication to the unity of the political family left behind by the late Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu. Her contributions to humanity and her commitment to peace and development remain highly commendable,” he said.

The Ibadan North East chairman also lauded the celebrant’s devotion to religious activities and her continuous support for the less privileged, noting that her humanitarian gestures have earned her respect and admiration within and outside Ibadanland.

Hon. Akintayo prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon the Yeyeluwa, asking God to grant her good health, happiness, and many more years of fruitful service to humanity and society.
