The Member representing Ibadan North East Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Babalola PhD, popularly known as “Integrity,” has applauded the leadership of Seyi Makinde as the governor marks seven years in office.

Hon. Babalola, in a statement made available to newsmen, described Governor Makinde’s administration as a government that has consistently prioritised institutional growth, social development and the welfare of the people of Oyo State.

The lawmaker noted that the governor’s commitment to responsible governance and prudent management of state resources has helped in repositioning Oyo State for sustainable development.

He stated that over the years, the administration has continued to implement policies that support economic expansion, educational advancement and infrastructural renewal across various parts of the state.

According to Hon. Babalola, the collaboration between the executive and legislative arms under Governor Makinde’s administration has also strengthened democratic governance and accelerated the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown capacity, courage and dedication in the management of the affairs of Oyo State. His administration has remained focused on policies that improve the lives of ordinary citizens and promote long-term development,” he said.

The lawmaker further commended the governor for encouraging youth participation in governance and creating an enabling environment for peace and political stability in the state.

Hon. Babalola thereafter congratulated Governor Makinde on the seventh anniversary of his administration and prayed for greater achievements in the years ahead.
