The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo popularly known as “O Mu Yes,” has commended the administration of Seyi Makinde for what he described as impactful governance and remarkable developmental strides as the governor marks seven years in office.

In a congratulatory statement issued on the occasion of Governor Makinde’s seventh anniversary as the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Akintayo praised the governor for his commitment to infrastructural development, economic growth and improved welfare for the people of the state.

According to the council chairman, Governor Makinde’s administration has continued to set a standard in transparent and people-oriented governance through projects and policies that have positively impacted residents across the state.

He noted that the governor’s achievements in road construction, education, healthcare, agriculture, security and workers’ welfare have contributed immensely to the growth and stability of Oyo State.

Hon. Akintayo further applauded Governor Makinde for sustaining peace and political harmony in the state, adding that his inclusive style of leadership has earned him widespread acceptance among the people.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown exceptional leadership and dedication to the progress of Oyo State. His administration has delivered visible dividends of democracy, and the people can clearly see the transformation taking place across the state,” he stated.

The Ibadan North East chairman also congratulated Governor Makinde on the milestone anniversary and prayed for continued wisdom, strength and success for him in steering the affairs of the state.
