The Member representing Ibadan North East Constituency 01 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Babalola (PhD), popularly known as “Integrity,” has joined Christians across the globe in celebrating the Easter season, extending warm felicitations to the faithful as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a press statement released on Sunday, April 5, 2026, the lawmaker; who previously served as the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan East Development Area, called on residents of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to embrace peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence during and beyond the festive period.

Hon. Babalola emphasized that the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which Easter symbolizes, remains the greatest expression of hope, love, and reconciliation to mankind. He urged people of all faiths and backgrounds to draw lessons from the season by promoting goodwill and mutual understanding within their communities.

“Easter is a season that calls for deep reflection on the values of love, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence. I encourage all residents of Oyo State and Nigerians as a whole to imbibe these virtues and commit to living in peace and harmony with one another,” he stated.
