Opatoki Unveils Digital Skills Training to Empower Oyo Youths
In a move aimed at strengthening youth capacity and promoting economic independence, Otunba Oluseye Opatoki has announced the launch of a digital skills training and empowerment program for young people in Oyo State.
Opatoki, one of the leading gubernatorial hopefuls under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), continues to position himself as a strong advocate for youth development through impactful initiatives. The digital skills training program is one of several empowerment schemes he has introduced to equip youths with practical tools for success.
According to the organizers, the program is designed to help participants acquire relevant digital skills that will enable them to compete effectively in the global marketplace while fostering self-reliance. Key areas of training include digital marketing, content creation, and AI automation.
Participants in the program will not only receive hands-on training but will also be empowered with laptops and provided with internship opportunities to gain real-world experience.
The training is set to commence on Friday, April 3, 2026, with an orientation program scheduled to hold at the House of Chiefs, Oyo State House of Assembly, by 10:00 a.m. The event is expected to attract a large number of young beneficiaries and stakeholders from across the state.
