Mammoth Crowd As Fadeyi Declares Reps Ambition, Cites "Ona-Ara Lokan" Before PDP Leaders

Again, Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has officially announced his intention to run for the Federal House of Representatives seat for the Egbeda / Ona-Ara Federal Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party.
The declaration took place on Monday at the party office in Olunloyo, drawing a large crowd of party leaders, stakeholders, members, and supporters chanting "Ona-Ara Lo Kan."
Fadeyi emphasized that it is the turn of the Ona-Ara people to produce the next House of Representatives member, citing years of marginalization by Egbeda.
He stated that this was a sentiment shared by everyone in both Egbeda and Ona-Ara.
He explained that his decision was a response to constituents' requests to extend his legislative service for the benefit of the Egbeda/Ona-ara federal constituency, highlighting the importance of experience.
Fadeyi sought the support and blessings of party members and leaders, promising not to disappoint if elected.
Traditional leader in Ejioku, Akanran, however commended Hon. Fadeyi's responsiveness as a state House of Assembly member, praising his empowerment programs, constituency projects, and philanthropic efforts in Ona-Ara.
Party leaders, including Baba Adurodekun, Chief Mufutau Ogunremi, Chief Soba Bakare, Honorable Akeem Oke, party chairman Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, Hon. Biliaminu Azeez, Former State Honorable, Niyas, Former Chairman, Baba Bankole, and Chairman of the local government, Dr. Temitope Glorious, also described Hon. Fadeyi as an experienced and capable politician. They prayed for his success, noting his superior qualifications compared to other candidates.
The declaration was attended by all party leaders, excos, political appointees, councillors, ward chairmen, ward youth leaders, ward women leaders, ward secretaries, and other officials.
