A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North East Constituency 01, Hon. Abiodun Babalola, Ph.D., has celebrated the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message released on Tuesday, 17th of February, 2026, Dr. Babalola, fondly called "Mr. Integrity" and former Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan East Developmental Area, described his colleague and principal officer as an exemplary leader whose tenure has been marked by outstanding legislative accomplishments and harmonious governance.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin, who has distinguished himself as Speaker of both the 9th and current 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, recently completed his tenure as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers in Nigeria, further cementing his reputation as one of the country's foremost legislative minds.

Hon. Babalola particularly commended the Eruwa-born lawmaker for his exceptional ability to maintain cohesion within the hallowed chamber and foster a productive working relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of the Oyo State Government.

"Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin has demonstrated rare leadership qualities in harmonizing diverse opinions within the House while ensuring that the Legislature works synergistically with the Executive to deliver democratic dividends to the good people of Oyo State," Dr. Babalola stated.

Speaking from his unique position as both a colleague and former local government administrator, Hon. Babalola noted that the Speaker's leadership has created an enabling environment for robust legislative debates while maintaining the dignity and decorum of the House. He praised the celebrant's inclusive leadership style and resolute dedication to the advancement of Oyo State.

In his birthday wishes, Hon. Babalola prayed for divine elevation in all of the Speaker's future endeavors.
