Akintayo Leads 3,933 Newly Inducted Health Workers to Thank Makinde in Oyo
No fewer than 3,933 newly recruited health workers in Oyo State have expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde following their official induction ceremony held on Monday.
The health workers, drawn across different cadres to strengthen healthcare delivery in the state, described the recruitment as a major boost to the health sector and a clear demonstration of the governor’s commitment to improving primary healthcare services.
Speaking during the event on behalf of the newly inducted primary healthcare workers, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo “O MU YES,” the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, delivered an appreciation speech, thanking Governor Makinde for the opportunity given to thousands of health professionals.
Akintayo praised the governor for prioritising the welfare of citizens through strategic investments in the health sector, adding that the recruitment exercise would significantly improve service delivery, especially at the grassroots.
According to him, the induction of the health workers represents a new phase of renewed hope for communities, as more hands have now been added to support healthcare delivery across the state.
The newly inducted workers also pledged their readiness to justify the confidence reposed in them by the state government, promising to serve diligently and uphold professional standards in their various duty posts.
The ceremony was attended by top government officials, health sector stakeholders and representatives of local governments across the state.
