The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin, has been congratulated by his colleague, Hon. Abiodun Babalola, Ph.D., on the successful completion of his tenure as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Babalola praised Ogundoyin’s tenure as one marked by purposeful leadership, bold advocacy, and a steadfast commitment to strengthening legislative institutions across the federation.

He noted that throughout his time as Chairman, Ogundoyin represented Oyo State with distinction and brought honour to the State Assembly through his principled defence of legislative autonomy, promotion of inter-parliamentary cooperation, and advocacy for reforms aimed at advancing good governance and deepening democracy.

Hon. Babalola further emphasized that Ogundoyin’s leadership has positioned Oyo State as a reference point for legislative excellence in Nigeria, describing his national-level contributions as a legacy defined by inclusiveness, innovation, and service to the Nigerian people.
