Mogaji of Ibidapo Compound Hails Oba Ladoja Historic Appointment, Describes It as Well-Deserved Recognition

A prominent son of Ibadan , The Mogaji of Ibidapo Compound, Ode Aje, Oloye Moroof Abiodun Amusa, has warmly congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Oyo State Traditional Council.


In a congratulatory message released from his office, Oloye Amusa described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of the Olubadan's distinguished leadership, vast experience, and immense contributions to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.



"On behalf of my family, the good people of Ibidapo Compound, Ode Aje, and indeed all sons and daughters of Ibadan, I rejoice with His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, on this historic appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Traditional Council," Oloye Amusa stated.
The Mogaji emphasized that the appointment is a testament to the Olubadan's sterling qualities, administrative acumen, and the respect he commands not only in Ibadanland but across the entire state and beyond.


Oloye Amusa expressed absolute confidence that the Olubadan would bring his wealth of experience, wisdom, and exemplary leadership to bear in his new role as Chairman of the Traditional Council. "Kabiyesi has demonstrated over the years that he is a leader of immense capacity, a statesman of high repute, and a custodian of our cherished traditions and values. We have no doubt that under his chairmanship, the Oyo State Traditional Council will achieve greater heights and continue to play its vital role in the peace, progress, and development of our dear state," he noted.



The Mogaji called on all traditional rulers in Oyo State to rally round the Olubadan in his new capacity, emphasizing that unity among traditional institutions is crucial for the advancement of the state and the welfare of its people.
"This appointment presents a golden opportunity for our royal fathers to work together harmoniously under Kabiyesi's leadership to promote our cultural heritage, maintain peace and security, and support the government's efforts at sustainable development," Oloye Amusa added.


In his prayers for the monarch, Oloye Amusa invoked divine blessings upon the Olubadan, asking for wisdom, good health, long life, and a successful tenure as Chairman of the Traditional Council.
"May Almighty God grant Kabiyesi the wisdom to lead effectively, the strength to discharge his duties, and the grace to record unprecedented achievements in this new role. May his reign continue to bring peace, prosperity, and progress to Ibadanland and Oyo State. Ase!" the Mogaji prayed.


Oloye Amusa joined millions of Ibadan indigenes and residents in celebrating this momentous occasion, describing it as a source of pride for the ancient city. "Ibadan is proud, and we are confident that our revered monarch will make us even prouder through his exemplary leadership of the Oyo State Traditional Council," he concluded.
