Hon. Akintayo Appreciates Cooperation, Urges Residents to Sustain Peace and Unity.
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has extended warm Christmas greetings and advance New Year wishes to all residents, political office holders, and personnel of the local government.
In a goodwill message released today, the Chairman expressed his appreciation for the remarkable cooperation and dedication that has characterized governance in the council area throughout the year, leading to significant progress and peaceful coexistence among all stakeholders.
Hon. Akintayo specially commended the political leadership in the council, starting with Hon. Igbalajobi, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, and extending to all councilors and political appointees for their unwavering commitment to the betterment of Ibadan North East Local Government.
"I want to specially recognize and appreciate our legislative leader, Hon. Igbalajobi, all councilors, and political appointees who have worked tirelessly throughout the year for the advancement of our council," the Chairman stated. "Your dedication to promoting peace and unity while pursuing developmental goals has been exemplary."
The Chairman noted that the harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative arms has been instrumental in achieving the council's developmental objectives and maintaining stability in the local government area.
In a significant acknowledgment, Hon. Akintayo expressed profound gratitude to the Head of Local Administration (HLA) and all staff members of Ibadan North East Local Government for their smooth and sincere cooperation with elected and appointed political leaders.
"The professionalism and dedication of our local government personnel, led by the HLA, have been remarkable," the Chairman noted.
"Their cooperation has created a peaceful and productive working environment that has enabled us to serve our people effectively."
He emphasized that the synergy between the political leadership and career civil servants has been a key factor in the council's achievements and the maintenance of peace within the local government administration.
The Chairman used the occasion to urge all residents of Ibadan North East Local Government to continue living in peace and harmony with one another. He stressed that peaceful coexistence and unity are essential ingredients for progress and mutual benefit within the community.
"As we celebrate this season of goodwill, I call on all our residents to maintain the spirit of peace, love, and unity that has characterized our local government," Hon. Akintayo appealed.
