Hon. Alawode Mourns Former House of Assembly Member, Omo Sheu.
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East LG, Hon. Oluwole Alawode has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Sheikh Abdullahi Ademola Abdulrasaq , a former member of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly who represented the good people of Ibadan South East LG Constituency 1.
In a condolence message released today, the Chairman described the late lawmaker as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to legislative development and grassroots governance left a lasting impact on the people of the state.
According to the Chairman, Late Hon. Omo Sheu was known for integrity, commitment, and a strong passion for community development, qualities that earned him respect across political and social divides.
“The passing of Hon. Abdullah Ademola Abdulrazaq is a great loss not only to his family but also to our local government, Ibadan South East and Oyo State at large. He served with distinction and remained a voice for the people throughout his time in public office,” the Chairman said.
The Chairman extended heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and political associates of the deceased, praying for God to grant them the strength to bear the loss. He also urged the community to remember the late lawmaker’s legacy of service and unity.
