Rotary Club of Ibadan Ring Road Honours Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo with Award of Excellence
The Rotary Club of Ibadan Ring Road has honoured the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O MU YES, with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding contributions to governance and community service.
The award presentation took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, during the club’s 12th President Investiture ceremony, which attracted Rotarians, dignitaries, and invited guests.
Hon. Akintayo, who was ably represented by the Supervisory Councillor for Special Duties, Hon. Bakare Yisa Adesola (Ayatul). Receiving the award on his behalf, Hon. Adesola expressed the Chairman’s gratitude to the Rotary Club, describing the recognition as an encouragement to continue promoting development, service to humanity, and leadership that touches lives positively.
The Rotary Club noted that the award was bestowed on Hon. Akintayo for his dedication to grassroots development, his people-oriented policies, and his unwavering support for initiatives that uplift the community.
The event also featured the formal investiture of the club’s 12th President, alongside other recognitions aimed at celebrating individuals who exemplify service, leadership, and excellence.
