PDP State Congress: Opatoki Hails New Executives, Describes Makinde as a Phenomenal Leader.
Otunba Oluseye Opatoki, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has lauded the peaceful and transparent conduct of the state congress that produced new executive members of the party. He attributed the success of the exercise to the exemplary and phenomenal leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Speaking with Community Magazine correspondent, Mr. Olu Carter Faleye, Opatoki commended Governor Makinde for demonstrating fairness, equity, and inclusiveness in steering the affairs of the party. According to him, the unity and orderliness displayed by party members during the congress is a testament to the governor’s ability to build trust and foster harmony among diverse interests within the PDP.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde for always prioritizing the collective interest of the party above personal gains, stressing that such leadership style continues to strengthen the PDP in Oyo State.
Otunba Opatoki also congratulated the newly elected executives, led by Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro as Chairman and Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke as Deputy Chairman. He urged them to uphold the values of fairness, transparency, and unity, assuring that their leadership will play a vital role in consolidating the party’s strength ahead of future elections.
Reaffirming his loyalty and commitments to the PDP, Opatoki pledged to continue supporting the party’s structures and leadership, working towards the sustenance of peace, progress, and electoral victories.
