OYO LAWMAKER: Hon. Abiodun Babalola Ph.D Holds Town Hall Meeting, Presents Two-Years Stewardship
In a bid to strengthen accountability and transparency in governance, Hon. Abiodun Babalola Ph.D on Tuesday 9th, September 2025 held a well-attended town hall meeting/interaction where he presented his stewardship covering his two years in office.
The event, which took place in Ibadan North East Local Government, attracted a large turnout of political leaders, party faithfuls, traditional rulers, artisans, and residents of the constituency who came to listen to the lawmaker’s scorecard.
In his detailed presentation, Hon. Babalola highlighted his legislative achievements, community development initiatives, empowerment programs, and contributions to education, health, and infrastructure. He stressed his commitments to improving the welfare of his constituents while assuring them of more impactful projects in the years ahead.
In addition, he spoke about the number of bills and motion he has sponsored and co-sponsor in the hallow Chamber for the betterment of his constituents and Oyo state at large.
Speaking at the meeting, participants and stakeholders commended Hon. Abiodun Babalola for his outstanding performances , describing him as a representative and leader who has justified the mandate given to him. They praised his accessibility, humility, and dedication to grassroot developments, while urging him to sustain the momentum.
The town hall meeting also provided an opportunity for constituents to interact directly with their representative, ask questions, and make suggestions for further developments.
