A prominent Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Otunba Oluseye Opatoki, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to members of the PDP in Ward 04 and across the 351 wards of the state for the peaceful and successful ward congress held yesterday.

In his remarks after the exercise, Otunba Opatoki lauded party members for conducting themselves with maturity, unity, and discipline throughout the process, stressing that such conduct is a clear demonstration of the strength and democratic culture of the PDP at the grassroots level.

He congratulated the newly elected executives of Ward 04, urging them to view their emergence as an opportunity to serve with dedication and contribute to the continued progress of the party in Ibadan North East and Oyo State at large.

“I sincerely commend our members for the peaceful manner in which the ward congress was held. In Ward 04, being my own ward, and in others, the process was transparent, credible, and highly successful. This proves once again that our party remains united and prepared for greater victories ahead,” Otunba Opatoki stated.

He further charged the new executives to work hand in hand with stakeholders and members, emphasizing the need for inclusiveness, growth, and unwavering loyalty to the party.

Otunba Opatoki also reaffirmed the commitment of Ibadan North East PDP to sustaining its support for the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. SEYI MAKINDE, FNSE, whom he described as a visionary leader and a beacon of hope for the people as the party looks forward to the 2027 general elections.
