O Mu Yes Joins Ibadanland LG Chairmen to Pay Homage to Olubadan-Designate, Oba Rasheed Ladoja
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O Mu Yes, on Friday joined his colleagues — the ten Local Government Chairmen in Ibadan land , on a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
The visit, which was led by the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Oyo State (ALGOS), Hon. Sikiru Sanda, was aimed at paying homage to the revered monarch ahead of his forthcoming coronation.
Hon. Akintayo , who's the spoke person for the forum described the engagement as fruitful, noting that it reaffirmed the collective commitment of the Chairmen to the Ibadan Traditional Council, which he described as one of the most respected traditional institutions globally for its unique and peaceful succession system.
“As we eagerly look forward to the grand coronation of HRM Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja on September 26, we, the Chairmen of Ibadanland, remain steadfast in replicating Governor Seyi Makinde’s good governance mantra for the continued peace, unity, and development of our land,” Akintayo said.
The Chairmen jointly prayed for a long, prosperous, and impactful reign for Oba Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
