Oyo Lawmaker Hon. Babalola Bags Lead City University Award Of Recognition.
Oyo state lawmaker representing Ibadan North East Constituency 1, Engr. Babalola Abiodun yesterday, 14th of November, 2024, received the award of recognition from the National Association of Radiography Students, LEAD CITY UNIVERSITY Chapter.
The award was presented to the Pioneer of Omititun Continuous Education and a Biomedical Engineer turned Politician at his office in Oyo state parliament Building, Agodi Secretariat Ibadan.
While presenting the outstanding award, the President of National Association of Radiography Student (LCU ) Ibadan chapter, Mr Olubowale Joshua Aanuoluwapo along Mrs Joke Egbedeyi and Mrs Bamigboye Ololade Mariam presented the award to the distinguished honourable. It was in recognition of the enormous contributions of Engr Babalola to the association , award was given during the world's Radiography day , 14th of November, 2024, his Biomedical Engineering expertises contribution to the Medical world and his sterling representation of the people of Ibadan North East Constituency 1 in Oyo state Hallow Chamber .
"We are proud to be associated with a Biomedical Engineer turned Politician. I’m delighted to be called upon to present this award to honour you, Sir" Mr Olubowale Joshua said.
In his response, Hon. Babalola dedicated the award to H.E Governor Seyi Makinde for leading Oyo state with competences and sound character. He also appreciated His Excellency for giving him the unique opportunities to unearth the leadership skills locked up in him.
"Hon. Abiodun Babalola expressed his profound gratitudes to the management of LEAD CITY UNIVERSITY, the HOD of Department of Radiography Dr Robert, the Association President, Mr Olubowale Joshua and the entire students exco for finding him worthy, saying he was taken aback when invited as a recipient of this award"
Continuing , Hon. Abiodun assured the association that he will continue in his personal capacity be a friend of the National Association of Radiography Students and to continue to avail himself the opportunity to make more meaningful contributions to the development" Hon. Babalola concluded.
