EID- EL- MAOLUD: COUNCIL BOSS, AKINTAYO URGES MUSLIMS TO IMBIBE THE TEACHINGS  OF PROPHET MUHAMMED IN THEIR DOINGS.

The Executive Chairman, Ibadan North East Local Government, Iwo-Road, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo aka ( O mu Yes) has urged Muslim faithfuls home and abroad to imbibe the teachings of Prophet Muhammed in all their doings so that the good attributes that Prophet Muhammed was known for in the Holy Quran can be reflected in them as exemplary Muslims. 

Hon Akintayo who is also the Aare Akeweje Adinni of Oyo State made this urge while felicitating Muslims Ummahs and Youths in Ibadan North East Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the celebration of this year Maolud Nabiyy that marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The Chairman in his congratulatory message to muslim brothers and sisters in Ibadan North East Local Government area of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole noted that "Maolud Nabiyy" celebration signifies the birth of Prophet Muhammed and also remind us the good teachings and the peaceful co-existence that Prophet Muhammed encouraged muslim to practice so as to enjoy the rewards outlines by Holy Quran not only on this earth but even  life afterwards .

The Council Boss noted that Nigerians irrespective of our tribe should see ourselves as one and pray for the stability, development and growth of this nation so as to recover our lost glory and fortune adding that, Nigeria is a Country blessed with lots of natural resources that can make us stand out among other nations but the lack of unity has deprived us lot of opportunities and causes setback for us a nation. 

The Chairman enjoined all Muslim Ummahs to use this celebration to pray for the betterment of Nigeria and also try to be a good ambassador of the State saying Prophet Muhammed throughout his lifetime demonstrated good deeds that is worthy of emulation and this is what is expected from every Muslim.

Akintayo also call on good people of Oyo State to support the present administration with prayers and advise the youths specifically to shun any act of violence and indiscipline that can disrupt the peace of the State saying, the government at all levels are making tremendous efforts to bring relief and succour to the massess by coming up with different empowerment programmes that will refuce the economic hardships that Nigerians are experiencing.

Conclusively, the Chairman on behalf of the legislative council, the councillors, the management team therefore felicitates the political functionaries, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders and the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government on the occasion of this year 2023 ID-EL-MAULUD and prayed that this significant period will bring comfort and peace to our State and the entire nation.
