BE GOOD AMBASSADORS, HON. AKINTAYO IMPLORED INTENDING PARTY AGENTS IN TRAINING.
In order to have a free, fair and credible electoral process in Ibadan North East LGA, chairman of the council and the PDP exco body had organized an electoral training for all the intending PDP party agents that would be representing the party in the 336 polling units across the 12 political wards of the LG in the forth coming election.
The meeting/ training session which was held at the main hall of Ibadan North East LG commenced around 11:00am and was presided over by Engr. Akin Akinleye who was the resource person of the day.
Addressing all participants, Hon. Ibrahim Akinsola Akintayo, the executive chairman of the LG who declared the training session opened, encouraged everyone present to have faith in the administration of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for better performance in the coming tenure. He further urged all the intending party agents to be good ambassadors of the party during and after, elections; thus, wished the participants a wonderful training programme and prayed for successful outing on the part of the party in the coming elections.
Chief Isiaka Fatokun (Abuye), the PDP chairman in the LG implored all participants and other party members present to be faithful, focused and promise to move in every capacity he could to make sure their desires were met.
Hon.( Engr.) Akin Akinleye who took the center stage to give the training lectures highlighted key areas of concentration to be noted by the participants on such issues as: "over voting, checking of voter's register, accreditation, voting period, counting and transmission of results, even on the major work of party agents". Hon.Akinleye pointed out that any intending party agents should wear the character of intergrity, capability, good communication and above all, be able to endure certain stresses.
Concluding his lectures, the LG secretary, Hon. Engr. Akinleye appealed to participants to beware of mistakes/ over zealousness that could affect the party's results negatively.
