The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Akintayo, fondly called "OMUYES" by his people, has felicitated with residents of the local government as the month of September begins, praying for peace, progress, and prosperity for all.

In a goodwill message issued today, 1st of September, 2026, Hon. Akintayo expressed gratitude to God for the gift of a new month and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to the continued development of Ibadan North East LG.

"I felicitate with the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government as we begin a new month. I pray that September brings us peace, sound health, and greater prosperity as a people," Hon. Akintayo stated.

He commended residents for their cooperation and support for his administration's various development initiatives, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to community empowerment programs, and pledged to sustain the pace of governance anchored on service and inclusiveness.

"Together, we will continue to build an Ibadan North East that works for everyone. I urge you all to remain law-abiding, supportive, and hopeful as we forge ahead," he added.

Hon. Akintayo used the opportunity to pray for the peace and unity of the local government and Oyo State at large, assuring residents that his administration remains focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to every ward.
