EID-EL-MAULUD: HON. ABIOLA ABDULRAZAQ AKINLOYE FELICITATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL, PRAYS FOR PEACE AND PROGRESS IN OYO, NIGERIA

The House of Assembly Candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency 02 on the platform of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM), Hon. Abiola Abdulrazaq Akinloye, has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, the celebration marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In a goodwill message dated August 25, 2026, issued to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Akinloye described the celebration as a time to reflect on the enduring values of love, patience, honesty, and compassion taught by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
"Eid-El-Maulud is more than a celebration; it is a call to action for all of us to live by the exemplary virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) — truthfulness, humility, and genuine service to humanity," Hon. Akinloye said.

"As we mark this auspicious occasion, let us renew our commitment to peaceful coexistence, unity, and mutual respect among people of all faiths in our dear state and nation."
He urged Muslims and non-Muslims alike to embrace the season as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, extend kindness to the less privileged, and promote harmony within their communities.

Hon. Akinloye also called on leaders at all levels to imbibe the spirit of justice, honesty, and selfless service that defined the Prophet's life, particularly in the discharge of their duties to the people.
He wished the Muslim community a joyous and spiritually enriching celebration, and prayed for continued peace, unity, and progress across Oyo State and Nigeria.
