Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran Urges Love, Peace, and Selfless Service on Good Friday
The Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) and Oyo leading Guber aspirant, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, has called on Nigerians to embrace love, unity, and selfless service as Christians commemorate Good Friday.
In a goodwill message released on April 3, 2026, Adeniran urged citizens across Nigeria and beyond to reflect on the significance of the day, which marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice for humanity.
He emphasized that Good Friday offers a profound opportunity for Nigerians to recommit themselves to the values of compassion, humility, and peaceful coexistence. According to him, these virtues remain essential in fostering national unity and driving sustainable development.
“Good Friday calls us to embrace compassion, seek peace, and strengthen our collective resolve to build a more united and prosperous nation,” Adeniran stated.
The Guber aspirant and OYOSUBEB chairman further noted that the season should serve as a time of renewal, encouraging citizens, regardless of age or background, to deepen their faith and contribute meaningfully to society. He stressed the importance of shared values in overcoming challenges and promoting harmony across communities.
Adeniran also expressed hope that the solemn observance would inspire Nigerians to uphold principles that bind the nation together, urging collective responsibility in shaping a better future.
He concluded by wishing all Nigerians a blessed and reflective Good Friday, praying for peace, grace, and unity in every home.
