Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as OMUYES, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, has commended Governor Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, for his exceptional political virtue and generosity in donating a newly built edifice to serve as the permanent secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State. The council boss described the gesture as a demonstration of the governor's deep affection and commitment to the party's growth.


Hon. Akintayo praised Governor Makinde for understanding the critical importance of providing adequate infrastructure to support the party's daily activities and operations. He noted that the donation of this magnificent structure reflects the governor's visionary leadership and his dedication to ensuring that the party has a solid institutional foundation for effective administration and coordination of activities across the state.

"His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, has once again proven his resolute commitment to our great party. The newly built secretariat, strategically located at Molete opposite First Bank PLC in Ibadan, Oyo State, was officially commissioned today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, by the National Chairman of the PDP. The commissioning ceremony brought together party leaders, executives, stakeholders, and faithful from across the state to witness this historic milestone and celebrate the party's enhanced operational capacity.


Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo congratulated all party members and stakeholders on this significant achievement, urging them to take full advantage of the new facility to strengthen party unity, enhance coordination, and advance the PDP's progressive agenda. He emphasized that the permanent secretariat will serve as a rallying point for members and a symbol of the party's strength and stability in Oyo State.
