The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, fondly known as O Mu Yes, has congratulated Chief Barrister Muyiwa Makinde on the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in International Agribusiness at Lead City University, Ibadan.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Hon. Akintayo hailed the new doctorate holder for demonstrating exceptional dedication to academic advancement despite the demands of professional and public life. He described the achievement as an inspiration to the youth and a positive reflection of Chief Makinde’s passion for knowledge, innovation, and capacity building.

According to the Council Chairman, the specialization in International Agribusiness is particularly timely, given the nation’s efforts toward agricultural transformation, food security, and economic diversification.

“Chief Makinde’s intellectual journey is a reminder that continuous learning remains a powerful tool for community and national development. His Ph.D achievement is not only a personal victory but also a boost to our collective aspiration for a more prosperous agricultural sector,” Akintayo stated.

He commended Chief Makinde for distinguishing himself and urged him to continue deploying his expertise to support policy formulation, agribusiness development, and sustainable growth initiatives across Oyo State and Nigeria.

Hon. Akintayo prayed for more accomplishments in the celebrant’s career and expressed confidence that the new qualification will further enhance his contributions to society.
