‎When Leadership Meets Responsibility; Agboworin Supports Security Agencies Across His Constituency

‎Good representation goes beyond lawmaking; it is about understanding the needs of the people and institutions within one’s constituency and responding with purposeful action.
‎Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, the Member representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has once again demonstrated what true and responsive leadership looks like.
‎In his latest initiative, the federal lawmaker presented essential operational tools to various security agencies across his constituency, including the Nigeria Police Force, Operation Burst, DSS, NSCDC, and Amotekun Corps.
‎The items, which include Generators, Fridges, Water Dispensers, Fans, Printers, and Stationeries were distributed to support and enhance the working conditions of these agencies, ensuring they can discharge their duties more effectively.
‎Hon. Agboworin’s gesture aligns perfectly with the vision and philosophy of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, who has consistently made security a top priority in Oyo State. As one of the loyal foot soldiers of the Makinde administration, Agboworin continues to complement the Governor’s efforts with impactful grassroots interventions that directly benefit the people.
‎Beyond the immediate benefits, this initiative sends a clear message that security agencies should not only be remembered during elections but supported continually as partners in governance. It also serves as a clarion call to other political office holders and the private sector to emulate this example and contribute meaningfully to a safer and more secure society.
‎Having earlier visited and assessed several security formations within his constituency, Agboworin’s intervention was based on firsthand observation of their needs. This reflects a leadership style rooted in empathy, responsibility, and action.
‎In all, Hon. Agboworin has proven once again that representation is not about occupying an office but about using that office to make measurable impacts in alignment with the progressive ideals of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
