NIGERIA @65: IBADAN NORTH EAST CHAIRMAN, HON. IBRAHIM AKINTAYO ‘O MU YES’, FELICITATES NIGERIANS, HAILS MAKINDE, PRAYS FOR STABILITY, URGES AGRICULTURE FOR FOOD SECURITY

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government and Aare Akeweje Musulumi of Oyo State, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O MU YES, has felicitated with Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Akintayo congratulated the people of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, and all Nigerians, while commending the resilience of the citizens in the face of national challenges.

He noted that Nigeria at 65 is a moment to reflect deeply on the country’s journey and to pray for stability in the face of insecurity, economic woes, and other pressing issues.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we must also pray for peace, stability, and progress in our nation. I pray that God grants us good leaders with kind hearts who will put the interests of Nigerians first, especially as we approach the 2027 elections,” Hon. Akintayo said.

The council boss appreciated all religious leaders across the country for their continuous prayers, urging them to remain steadfast in interceding for the rapid growth and prosperity of Nigeria.

He also called on Nigerians to embrace agriculture as a practical solution to hunger and economic hardship, noting that the country is blessed with fertile land that can sustain households and communities if well utilized.

Furthermore, Hon. Akintayo prayed for the souls of Nigeria’s past heroes and heroines who fought for the independence being celebrated today, while extending heartfelt sympathy to their families.

He concluded with a message of hope, stressing that with unity, hard work, and prayers, Nigeria’s brighter days are ahead.
