The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O MU YES, has joined thousands of well-wishers in celebrating the 81st birthday of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sen. Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I, the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In his congratulatory message personally signed by him , made available to newsmen by his media team, Hon. Akintayo described the revered monarch as the “people’s choice and God’s beloved,” noting that Oba Ladoja’s reign has been marked by uncommon wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of Ibadanland.

According to the council boss, “Kabiyesi has always been a father to all, a leader of peace, and a source of inspiration not only to Ibadanland but to Oyo State and Nigeria at large. His life exemplifies service to humanity, and his new age is a testimony of God’s grace and divine favour.”

Hon. Akintayo further prayed for long life, sound health, and greater wisdom for the Olubadan, while assuring that Ibadan North East Local Government would continue to uphold and support the values of peace, unity, and cultural heritage that the monarch embodies.

He concluded by urging sons and daughters of Ibadan to rally around the throne of the Olubadan, stressing that Oba Ladoja’s reign is a blessing to the people, and his 81st birthday is worth celebrating with joy and gratitude.
