Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (O MU YES) Celebrates Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on His Coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (O Mu Yes), has joined the good people of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large to celebrate the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Akintayo described the coronation of Oba Ladoja as a historic moment for Ibadanland, noting that the revered monarch’s ascension to the ancient throne brings joy, pride, and renewed hope for the city’s cultural heritage and unity.

“Kabiyesi’s life has been one of service, dedication, and passion for Ibadan and Oyo State at large. His coronation as the 44th Olubadan is not only well-deserved but also a divine arrangement that will further strengthen peace, development, and progress in Ibadanland. I am confident that under his reign, Ibadan will continue to witness greater unity and prosperity,” Hon. Akintayo stated.



As the Aare Akeweje Musulumi of Oyo State, Hon. Akintayo prayed for long life, wisdom, and divine guidance for the new Olubadan, urging all sons and daughters of Ibadanland to rally around their monarch for the overall growth and advancement of the ancient city.

He further reaffirmed his commitment as a grassroots leader to continue promoting peace, development, and cultural pride in alignment with the vision of the newly crowned Olubadan.

The coronation of Oba Ladoja has been widely celebrated as a new dawn in the history of Ibadanland, marking al continuation of the cherished tradition that unites the people of the ancient city under one supreme traditional ruler.
