Ibadan North East Council Boss, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo "Aare Akeweje Of Oyo State ", Felicitates Muslims on Eld-el-Mawlud Celebration

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo , who's also The Aare Akeweje Musulumi Of Oyo State has extended heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithfuls across the local government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year’s Eld-el-Mawlud celebrations, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In a statement released on Wednesday, Hon. Akintayo , popularly known as " O MU YES"  described Eld-el-Mawlud as a time for reflection on the exemplary life, teachings, and character of the Prophet, urging Muslims to embrace love, humility, and compassion in their daily lives.

According to him, “The celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) reminds us of the enduring values of peace, tolerance, and selflessness which he preached. At a time when our nation needs unity more than ever, we must continue to draw inspiration from his message of brotherhood and service to humanity.”

The council boss also called on residents of Ibadan North East to use the festive period to pray for sustained peace, prosperity, and good governance in Oyo State and Nigeria. He further assured that his administration remains committed to fostering grassroots development and ensuring dividends of democracy reach every household.

While congratulating Muslims on witnessing another Eld-el-Mawlud, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo appealed for continued co-operation and support from all stakeholders in his quest to deliver quality governance.

“On behalf of the government and good people of Ibadan North East Local Government, I wish all Muslims Ummah a joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eld-el-Mawlud celebration,” he concluded.
