Akintayo Commends Peaceful PDP Ward Congress, Congratulates New Ward Executives in Ibadan North East

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O MU YES, has expressed appreciation to members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the council area for the peaceful and successful conduct of the ward congress held across wards 1 to 12.

Speaking after the exercise, Hon. Akintayo commended party faithful for demonstrating maturity, discipline, and unity throughout the congress, noting that the smooth process reflects the strength and democratic values of the PDP at the grassroots level.

He congratulated the newly elected ward executives, charging them to see their emergence as a call to service and an opportunity to consolidate the gains of the party in Ibadan North East and Oyo State at large.

“I must sincerely appreciate our members for the peaceful manner in which the ward congress was conducted. From ward 1 to ward 12, the exercise was orderly, transparent, and successful. This is a testimony to the fact that our party is united and ready for greater victories ahead,” Hon. Akintayo said.

He further urged the new executives to work in harmony with stakeholders and members, emphasizing that their leadership should foster inclusiveness, growth, and loyalty to the party.

The council boss reaffirmed the commitment of Ibadan North East PDP to continue mobilizing support for the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, whom he described as a symbol of visionary leadership and the hope of the people as the party looks ahead to the 2027 presidential election.
