Akintayo Expresses Profound Gratitude to Gov. Makinde, Oyo First Lady, Stakeholders for Support During First Year Anniversary and Weeklong Project Commissioning

Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, fondly known as ‘O mu yes’, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, has penned a heartfelt message of appreciation to key dignitaries and the good people of his local government for their overwhelming support during the celebration of his one-year anniversary in his second term in office.

The anniversary, which spanned a full week of impactful activities including the commissioning of developmental projects and empowerment programmes for residents, was concluded in a grand style yesterday.

In his appreciation note, Hon. Akintayo extended special thanks to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for his unwavering leadership, guidance, and support that has continued to inspire progressive governance at the grassroots level.

He also expressed deep gratitude to Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, the First Lady of Oyo State, for her encouragement and presence which added great value to the event.

The Chairman commended the efforts and contributions of Oloye Nureni Akanbi (Arole Iba Oluyole), all Service Chiefs, Honourable Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, and the entire leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) at the state, local government, and ward levels.

In addition, Hon. Akintayo acknowledged the unwavering support from the Ibadan North East Legislative Council, Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants, Career Officers, and party faithful.

He also appreciated the patriotic citizens and residents of Ibadan North East Local Government whose cooperation and active participation made the anniversary celebration and project commissioning a resounding success.

The weeklong program featured the unveiling of landmark projects, including infrastructural development, healthcare improvements, and economic empowerment for traders, artisans, and youths—further underlining his administration's commitment to sustainable development and people-oriented governance.

Hon. Akintayo reaffirmed his dedication to continue delivering purposeful leadership and to uphold the vision of Governor Makinde in transforming the lives of the people at the grassroots.
