Council Boss, Akintayo Congratulates Governor Seyi Makinde as he emerges NGF Vice-Chairman.
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde on his election as the Vice-Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Akintayo noted that this is a well deserved position for Engr Seyi Makinde considering his achievements and roles towards social and economic development not only in Oyo State but in Nigeria as a whole.
According to him, "emerging the position of Vice-Chairman of the NGF is as a result of uttermost commitment that Engr Oluseyi Makinde has been demonstrating towards the betterment of this Country since the beginning of his administration and a call to do more in his second term in office as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Makinde through his verified twitter account on Wednesday said, “Honoured to be the new Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
"I look forward to working with the new Chairman, His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the forum secretariat staff and all members of the forum as we strive for inclusive development at the subnational level and effective collaborations at the national level".

Akintayo therefore wishes the people's Governor more successful accomplishments in his political career as a new tenure is about to commence.
