2023 EID-EL-FITR : AKINTAYO URGES MUSLIM FAITHFULS TO PROJECT BEST VIRTUES OF ALLAH BEYOND RAMADAN PERIOD

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Honourable Ibrahim Akintayo has sent best wishes to Muslims faithfuls in the local government area and Nigeria as they conclude the 30 days of Ramadan fasting, urging that they use the celebration to project the best virtues of Islam by showing love to the less privileges . 

In his goodwill message to mark the end of Year 2023 Ramadan fasting, the Chairman said “Let us use this opportunity to put the best teachings of Islam into practice, such as kindness, humility and the love of humanity.

Hon Akintayo said “This is an occasion for deep reflection and greater fear of Allah and avoidance of all evils to humanity and society at large.”

The Council Boss encouraged wealthy individuals and organisations to always share food and drinks with the less fortunate members in the society so that both the poor and the rich can enjoy the celebration. 

The Chairman while rejoicing with Muslim faithfuls in Ibadan North East Local Government and Nigeria as a whole said “It is my prayer that our acts of Ibadah will be accepted, we must not go back to our sinful habits so that we can enjoy the full benefitsof our fast."

"It is my hope that beyond this Ramadan period, we will continue to pray for the security, peace and development our nation and desist from any act that can cause conflict and disarray in our society.

Hon Akintayo therefore wishes all the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government Happy Celebration and pray that we shall experience more of it in good health and prosperity.
