IBADAN NORTH EAST BOSS, HON AKINTAYO URGES MUSLIM FAITHFULS TO PRAY FOR ALL ROUND PROGRESS IN NIGERIA AS RAMADAN STARTS .

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes) has called on Muslim faithfuls home and abroad to intensify prayer in this month of Ramadan for all round peace and comfort in Nigeria in this holy month of Ramadan 

Hon Akintayo who made this call today while rejoicing with our Muslim brothers and sisters for being alive to witness this year Ramadan said it is necessary to show gratitude to God for everything he has done for us as a Council especially in this political era.

According to him, "this 2023 Ramadan came at a period where Nigerians are battling with no cash issues and it is very crucial for us as Muslims to seek the face of Allah in this holy month and pray that God should put an end to every challenges we are facing as a nation. 

Hon Akintayo while rejoicing with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Oluseyi Makinde, the political leaders in the State, the market officials, religious leaders and all the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government on this year Ramadan encourages Muslim faithfuls to extend act of kindness to their fellow brothers and sisters that will be fasting in this holy month especially the less privileges.

He emphasised that the no cash policy has affected lot of people and it is the responsibilities of every good Muslim to help their fellow men out of what they have so that both the rich and the poor can have access to good food in this month of Ramadan.

Hon Akintayo emphasised that the month of Ramadan is a holy month in which Allah answers prayers and encourages people to use the month to ask God for peace, unity and progress in our nation adding that God should help our leaders to lead us right so that our nation can enjoy development in all ramifications. 

Similarly, the Head of Local Government Administration to the Council, Mrs Racheal Olabode welcomes all Muslim faithfuls in Ibadan North East Local Government starting from the Chairman, the political functionaries, the political leaders, the religion leaders, the market officials and all the staff members of the Council to this year Ramadan and pray that God should spare our lives to witness many more Ramadan periods.

Finally, the Chairman use this period to appreciate all the good people of Ibadan North East for voting massively for Engr Oluseyi Makinde in the just concluded second term Gubernatorial election stressing that his Victory is as a result of the massive turn out of people and the trust they have in his administration.

 He therefore admonish everyone to continue to support the present administration in oyo state so that the good work of engr Seyi Makinde can continue to the benefits of everyone.
