HON AKINTAYO INSPECTED ON-GOING PROJECTS AND TASKS CONTRACTOR ON QUALITY JOB DELIVERY
The executive chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo paid unschedule inspection to various ongoing projects in ibadan Northeast local government and tasked the contractor handling the construction of the newly awarded road linking Yidi-Oremeji road with Lagos-Ibadan on quality job delivery.
The council boss gave the order during inspection of the ongoing road projects at Yidi-Oremeji side of Ibadan North East Local Government.
Hon. Akintayo during the inspection of the newly opened road that connects Yidi axis of the road to Lagos-Ibadan Express road as an alternative root to all motorists who may want to join express road or those that may wish to link Oremeji-Agugu road from the Express side of the road.
The council chairman implored the contractor on the quality job delivery with quality materials as heavy vehicles will be plying the road in daily basis. He equally tasked the contractor to deliver the job within the agreed duration for the completion of the road job.
Other projects within the place inspected by the chairman are:
1. Rehabilitation of Oremeji, Yidi-Agugu road
2. Overlay and repair of damaged drainage of the existing road linking Express road with Agugu-Oremeji road directly opposite the newly awarded road.
3. Rehabilitation and expansion of road from Agugu junction to Oremeji bridge with two (2) slips roads in and out that link Lagos - ibadan express way on both sides.
In the inspection team of the chairman are the Director of Finance and Supplies, Alhaji Ahmed Lateef, Director of works, Builder Afolabi Abiodun, and other notable personalities in Ibadan North East Local Government
