Ibadan, Oyo State — Monday, August 17, 2026.

Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Akintayo, Aare Akeweje of Oyo State and Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government Area, has felicitated with residents of the local government on the beginning of a new week, urging them to embrace it with faith, focus, and determination.

In his Monday goodwill message, the Executive Chairman, popularly known as "OMUYES," charged residents to approach the new week with a positive mindset, disciplined focus on their goals, and unwavering resolve to overcome whatever challenges may come their way.

"Every new week is a fresh assignment from God, and how far we go depends on the faith we carry, the focus we maintain, and the determination we bring to it," Hon. Akintayo said. "To the good people of Ibadan North East — our traders, artisans, students, civil servants, and community leaders — I urge you to step into this week believing in your capacity for greater things, staying focused on what truly matters, and remaining determined despite the odds."

He commended the residents of the local government for their continued support and cooperation with his administration, reaffirming his commitment to sustained governance, grassroots development, and people-oriented leadership across Ibadan North East LGA.
Hon. Akintayo prayed for divine protection, guidance, and abundant blessings for all residents throughout the week, and wished everyone a productive and fruitful Monday.
