Hon. Engr. Abiodun Babalola, PhD, popularly known as "Mr. Integrity," Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North East Constituency 01 and the All Progressives Movement (APM) candidate for the same seat in the 2027 general election, has extended warm goodwill messages to all practitioners and custodians of Yoruba culture as the world marks Ìṣẹ̀ṣẹ Day 2026.

In a statement issued today, Thursday 20th August 2026, the lawmaker described Ìṣẹ̀ṣẹ Day as a solemn reminder of the depth, wisdom and enduring relevance of indigenous Yoruba heritage in shaping unity and moral order in society.

"On this special occasion of Ìṣẹ̀ṣẹ Day 2026, this Thursday 20th of August 2026, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all practitioners and custodians of our rich Yoruba cultural heritage," Hon. Babalola stated.
He urged residents of Ibadan North East Constituency and Oyo State at large to continue to live in harmony irrespective of religious, political or cultural differences, stressing that peaceful coexistence remains the bedrock of sustainable development.

The former Sole Administrator of Ibadan East Developmental Area prayed for continued peace, unity and progress across the state, noting that the celebration of Ìṣẹ̀ṣẹ Day should serve as a unifying force for all Yoruba sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora.

"May this celebration continue to promote our values, traditions, unity, peace and respect for our cultural heritage," he added.

Hon. Babalola wished all Yoruba faithful and cultural adherents a happy and reflective Ìṣẹ̀ṣẹ Day celebration.
