The House of Assembly Candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency 01 on the platform of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM), Engr. Abiodun Babalola, PhD, popularly known as "Mr. Integrity," has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, the celebration marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In a goodwill message issued today, Friday, August 25, 2026, issued to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Babalola described the celebration as a period of reflection on the values of compassion, humility, honesty, and service to humanity exemplified by the life of the Prophet.
"Eid-El-Maulud reminds us that true leadership is rooted in truthfulness, compassion for the less privileged, and unwavering integrity," Hon. Babalola said.

"As we celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), let us imbibe his teachings of honesty, patience, and selfless service in our dealings with one another, both in our homes and in the larger society."
He called on Muslims and non-Muslims alike to use the period to strengthen bonds of unity, tolerance, and brotherhood across religious lines, noting that Ibadan's rich history of Muslim-Christian coexistence remains a model worth preserving.

Hon. Babalola further urged Nigerians, particularly leaders in government, to reflect on the virtues of justice and service to the people as they carry out their responsibilities.
He wished the Muslim community a peaceful and spiritually rewarding celebration, and prayed for continued peace and progress in Oyo State and Nigeria.
