The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East Constituency 01 in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Allied People's Movement (APM) candidate for the same seat in 2027, Hon. Abiodun Babalola, PhD, popularly known as "Mr. Integrity," has commended Governor Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, over the recent arrival of two surveillance aircrafts acquired to boost security across Oyo State.

Hon. Babalola described the development as a bold and proactive step by the Makinde administration towards strengthening intelligence gathering, aerial surveillance, and rapid response to security threats across the state.

"I commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for this timely and strategic investment in the security of lives and property in Oyo State. The arrival of these surveillance aircrafts is a demonstration of a government that is alive to its responsibilities," he said.
The lawmaker recalled with sadness the unfortunate abduction incident at a school in Oriire Local Government Area, describing it as a painful reminder of the security challenges still confronting parts of the state. He prayed fervently that Oyo State would never again witness such a distressing occurrence.
"We must never allow a repeat of what happened at Oriire.

That incident shook the conscience of our state. It is my prayer that with these new security assets and the resolve of this administration, such ugly experience will forever remain a thing of the past," Hon. Babalola stated.
He further called on Oyo State residents, community leaders, and stakeholders to continue supporting the government's security architecture with useful information and cooperation.

Hon. Babalola concluded by praying for the continued success of Governor Makinde's administration, wishing him wisdom, strength, and divine guidance to deliver good governance and security to all corners of Oyo State.
