ADEDUNTAN DECLARED AUTHENTIC WINNER OF THE 2026 OYO STATE ADC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY HELD ON MAY 22, 2026

In a submission to the Office of the National Organizing Secretary of the ADC, Barrister Chinedu Idigo, on May 30, 2026, in Abuja, the Chairman of the Governorship Primary Committee, Mr. Harrison Akpojaro, officially submitted the tabulated results of the primary election conducted on May 22, 2026, and monitored by INEC.

In the report, submitted under oath and with full legal responsibility, Mr. Akpojaro affirmed that Dr. Azeez Adeduntan emerged as the winner of the governorship primary election, having secured 13,690 valid votes.

The officially tabulated results are as follows:

- Dr. Azeez Adeduntan — 13,690 votes
- Alagbe Gbemileke — 3,400 votes
- Adegoke Adegboyega — 500 votes
- Niyi Aborisade — 1,360 votes
- Ilaka Lukman — 410 votes

A duplicate signed copy of the official statement of results was also presented to Dr. Azeez Adeduntan in Abuja, as evidenced by the accompanying photographs.

The committee emphasized that any individual presenting himself as a candidate through an alleged parallel primary election does so at his own legal risk, as such actions may be subject to legal challenge and other appropriate remedies under the law.
